About us
Studio Tchelet, specializing in the documentation, preservation and restoration of murals and architectural paint, has been operating for over 15 years. Apart from murals, there are diverse projects and activities that pertain to all areas of material heritage preservation.
The studio is located in the Lod industrial area, in the space used as a brush workshop. The work is mostly in the field, in historic buildings for preservation, all over the country.

Shai Farkash - Founder and owner
Born into a family of brush manufacturers in Lod and at the beginning of his career he joined the family business.
At the age of 24, he studied industrial engineering and management at the institute For labor productivity, In 2002, at the age of 46, he studied for a certificate in the preservation of the heritage built in the field of architecture at Tel Aviv University. H
Shai's documentation and preservation project began in 2000, and included physical inspection of walls and ceilings in dozens of historic homes, exposure and photography of decorative paint surfaces and murals. F
The research and documentation process led Shai to establish studio in 2000 together with Eli Shaltiel. To
